Other measures that the developer might be looking at as punishment for RWT actions are scheduled to include wealth removal , which essentially removing ill-gotten gains from players' accounts at the level of servers - as well as potential bans.
RuneScape's PvP feature, which is known as the Duel Arena, will also be subject to
OSRS gold
stricter rules. Jagex claims that the feature "has been a source of this kind of shady behavior" and that 38 percent of the bans for RWT action up to this point result from that part that the player plays. It claims that the number of bans already amount up to "thousands of bans every month".
The developer seems to be choosing the nuclear decision, and says "we're considering in the future to eliminate this Duel Arena out of RuneScape completely." In the meantime it will introduce "some short-term actions" to clean up PvP "until our team of developers can release an important update that completely eliminates Duel Arena next year."
The rules will have a limit at the maximum amount GP which is also known as gold points, players can stake on games on the Duel Arena. Players will be allowed to bet "no over 50m GP for each duel". Further measures have not been described as of yet.
Jagex states that "a brand-new experience that will form part of the Elder God Wars storyline" will replace Duel Arena beginning in 2022 No further details have been provided yet.
While the impact of these changes remain to be determined the effects of these changes are the most robust measures any studio has attempted to combat external abuse of its systems for real-world cash-flow. If successful, similar measures could be seen in the MMO space in the future.
Jagex recently announced after 18 years as the battlefield for PvP, Duel Arena will be
cheap RS gold
leaving RuneScape and a brand new area will be added. RuneScape will launch Het's Oasis, with an all-new landscape, new skilling methods as well as two brand new mini-quests available to play.
